Lys by Jacinthe Lys by Jacinthe
Coloured picture of Lys, the wandering scholar in our comic. The background has gone through a few evolutions, and is almost guaranteed to change again in the near future.

Please let me know what you think. =)

Looks ready to fight, but the expression is so dispassionant. I'm not sure if you're doing that on purpose or not, but it does seem to add to the threat this person can bring to a battle.

The skillful use of depth sure is very appealing

Not at all like any average anime-stuff. I doubt people have the skill and innovative minds to think something like this up. =P

Great foreshortining! I love the color elements! I thin it is as good as DW's Street Fighter comic! Great job!

Terrific perspective and pose. A little shading might bring them out more.

Really sorry to say this, but the forshortening of his arm throws me off completely. : { Everything else is A-OK in my book though, and everyone else seems to have said it already for me! =^_^= I also agree that some shadows might give the background a more integrated feeling. (Ie. not just a place he is, but the place where he is doing something. A purpose, nyeh?) It also, if played correctly, could lend to the proper foreshortening of that arm.

Wow! I LOVE his hair! His eyes are so beautiful too!!! It KINDA reminds me of my character Seika except she has really dark red hair with alot of orange-gold in it. She has one gold eye and a pale blue eye (but that's do to Kalaesha cutting her eye, but I will NOT go into that or this comment will be several pages long ^^; )

Realy great picture! Love the color-scheme! :+fav:
